Chalice Community Investment Program funding supported the Chittering Wildlife Carers to implement a sustainable Containers for Change recycling program. With the funding, the Chittering Wildlife Carers volunteers have arranged for container collection bins to be placed at local businesses and events around the region, which they will collect and recycle. The proceeds of the recycling will then be used to further support their crucial work as wildlife carers – rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife in need.
