The Gonneville Project

The Gonneville Project is a critical minerals mine development, located on Chalice-owned farmland approximately 70km north-east of Perth
in the Wheatbelt region. The project hosts a deposit of critical minerals essential for technologies that will help address climate change.

Infrastucture update

Field investigations for potential water and pipeline corridors for the proposed mine development, the Gonneville Project, were carried out in Spring 2025.

Thank you to the many landholders who provided their time, access to properties and valuable local information.

We are currently reviewing the survey data, design requirements and assessing off-site infrastructure routes with a preferred option expected to be identified mid 2026.

The Gonneville Project is located in the Shire of Toodyay, but in the regions, we acknowledge neighbours and communities go beyond lines on a map.

Chalice is committed to responsible environmental management, open stakeholder engagement and supporting initiatives through our Community Investment Program with two rounds of funding each year (February and September).

Local Voices Surveys

Local Voices is a survey designed to better understand what matters to the community as Chalice considers a potential future mine development.

Independently managed by Voconiq, the regular ‘Pulse’ surveys cover a wide variety of topics, and this feedback helps inform the decision making for the Gonneville Project. 

The 2026 Voconiq Local Voices Survey will open in July.

Details will be published in local papers, social media and where you can find a Chalice stand.
