The Gonneville Project is a critical minerals mine development, located on Chalice-owned farmland approximately 70km north-east of Perth
in the Wheatbelt region. The project hosts a deposit of critical minerals essential for technologies that will help address climate change.

Infrastructure update

In 2025, Chalice undertook landholder engagement seeking access for environmental surveys along potential infrastructure corridors. These surveys are now complete.

A preferred infrastructure corridor has now been identified for the next stage of assessment. From May 2026, our team is contacting landholders along that corridor, by letter and in person, to talk through what is proposed and the further field investigations planned for late 2026.

Supporting community

Chalice is committed to responsible environmental management, open stakeholder engagement and supporting initiatives through our Community Investment Program with two rounds of funding each year.

The first round opens February 1 – March 31 and the second round August 1 – September 31. Once the applications have been reviewed each funding applicant will be advised of the outcome in writing in May and November respectively.

Chalice proudly supports a wide range of events, forums and activities in the towns and regional centres surrounding our operation.

Local Voices Surveys

Local Voices is a survey designed to better understand what matters to the community as Chalice considers a potential future mine development.

Independently managed by Voconiq, the regular ‘Pulse’ surveys cover a wide variety of topics, and this feedback helps inform the decision making for the Gonneville Project. 

The 2026 Voconiq Local Voices Survey will open in June.

Details will be published in local papers, social media and where you can find a Chalice stand.
